CAN YOU COMBINE DIFFERENT REFERENCE PHOTOS TO MAKE A SINGLE PORTRAIT?
As someone who has had multiple pets in the past, I know first hand how difficult it can be to get a great shot of them together. Or perhaps you’d like a piece done combining past and present pets? You’re in luck! That’s very doable!
My goal will always be to give you the very best portrait I can. I can take multiple images and manipulate them to create one cohesive composition. Not sure if you’re images are good enough to make that happen? Feel free to send them to artbyemilylemoine@gmail.com and we have a chat about your options!
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE A CUSTOM PORTRAIT?
Once I start painting, it typically takes up to a week to finish a piece. However, the time in which I start on your piece is dictated by my waitlist at the time of ordering. This can range from 2 weeks up until months.
If you need your piece by a certain date, please mention that when filling out the order form, and I’ll let you know if I am able to accommodate your timeline. Depending on my current list, rush fees may be applied. Following shipment, you can expect to receive your tracked parcel 10-12 business days after the ship date.
How Does it work?
Step one: Before purchasing your portrait, I require all clients to fill out and submit the form below. You will then be contacted by me directly with an estimated cost based on your selections. Once approved you’ll receive an invoice which once paid will secure your place in the cue! Following that - the fun part!
Step two: To get started with your portrait, I require you to submit multiple high-resolution photographs of your pet or home to artbyemilylemoine@gmail.com . Natural lighting is ideal to accurately derive the subjects true colouring and likeness. Feel free to send as many photos as you like - this is often all I have to work with and we’d both like the finished product to be as accurate as possible. The better the photograph, the better the painting! Not sure if your picture of Fido is good enough? Step Three: Wait patiently! Turnaround time is roughly 3-4 weeks. (subject to change during peak seasons!) You will be updated with a tracking number once your portrait has left my hands and is en route to you!
Your portrait will be shipped with priority shipping which is inclusive of a tracking number. Rush shipping can be discussed prior and the upgraded cost will be included in your initial estimate. All pieces are matted and ready to frame!
All portraits are created on 140lb, 100% cotton cold press watercolour paper and painted with high quality artist grade paints.
